Tree Cornered Tweety is a "Merrie Melodies" cartoon animated short starring Tweety and Sylvester. Released May 19, 1956, the cartoon is directed by Friz Freleng. The voices were performed by Mel Blanc. That is one of few Sylvester and Tweety shorts wherein Tweety does not directly influence the outcome. The cartoon is a parody of Dragnet, with Tweety narrating the short in the style of Joe Friday.
