Chrom Thornton (クローム.ソーントン Kurōmu Sōnton) is the Captain of the Black Frame Pirates, and the current tutor to Hawthorne D. Robin. He is a swordsman and pirate of notable ill-repute, gaining a reputation for having defied the Marines openly on many occasions. Due to having formerly been a member of Whitebeard Pirates, along with having razed many Marine stations, and stolen precious equipment from Mariejois with great cunning, he is known as the Black-Framed Liar (黒額偽者 Kurogaku Nisemono), and holds a bounty of File:Bsymbol.gif120,000,000.
