Furff was a small Dibbun female squirrel of Redwall Abbey who often found herself in perilous situations; she was a friend of Dugry. She was almost abducted by Ravenwyte Murig at the dormitories, but Laird Bosie McScutta of Bowlaynee saved her. Later, Furff was almost abducted by another Doomwyte, Tarul, at the Bell Tower, but was saved by Sister Violet. Furff and another Dibbun, a small mousebabe, took the credit for defeating Tarul.
