The ajElasi (The Fist of Elasi) originally known as the Demeri Pirate Clan, had been known by that name for around 2200. They are one of the three main clans of the Elasi people of Menalvagor. In 2269 the ajElasi joined with the other Elasi clans to harass the United Federation of Planets. The clan gained notoriety when Cereth ajElasi briefly captured the Federation tug USS Masada.
