Ekatrina Maxwell was the wife of Werner Maxwell and mother of Virginia Maxwell, who died before the events of Wild Arms 3. She was an aspiring scientist who joined up with the Council of Seven in order to try to repair the damaged state of Filgaia. At some point, she married Werner Maxwell over the objections of Leehalt Alcaste, who was also taken in by her beauty. Unfortunately, the destructions of the Yggdrasil project claimed her life, and apparently those of the other scientists, making the young Virginia an orphan.
