HIMS Devastator was commissioned in 7 BBY at the main KDY assembly dock orbiting the planet Kuat. She would see fame as the flagship for Imperial Executor Darth Vader. Devastator was mortally wounded during the Battle of Endor when she came under concentrated fire from at least a dozen New Republic fighter squadrons. All hands were believed lost during the battle, though there was no record of her hull being found during the clean up in Rebel or Imperial records.
