The Ambush of Manaan was a small skirmish in 36 ABY. IT was essentially of massacre of a large group of innocent civilians by assassins hired by the Red Dawn. The leader of the assassins, Leonidas, was killed by Jedi Knight Bryn Fulcron after the latter had awoken during the fighting. The battle's aftermath led to the formation of The Crusaders.
