Jordan (b. c. 2001) was an eighth-grader at Junipero Middle School in Palmdale, California. He was in Mr. Hauser's history class, and was party of a field trip to the nearby Hebrew Home for the Aging to listen to Holocaust survivor Anne Berkowitz talk about her life. Jordan did not raise his hand before asking questions, much to Mr. Hauser's frustration. Jordan was surprised to learn that there were Dutch Nazis, and he wondered when the Nazis began tattooing numbers on Jews. He asked the only dumb question: What would have happened if an Allied bomber had hit Anne's hiding place?
