"The Fall of Kang" was an epic poem written by Klingon poet G'trok. "So honor the valiant who die 'neath your sword... But pity the warrior who slays all his foes." The poem was required reading at Starfleet Academy in the 24th century. The noted Federation scientist, Gideon Seyetik, was rather fond of the poem, and noted that, despite being a little obvious, the underlying message was true nonetheless.
