The Royal Palace of Andor is located in the very center of Caemlyn. Like most of the Inner City, it was originally built by Ogier stonemasons. It holds the Lion Throne within the Grand Hall, the Royal Apartments, and several courtyards and stables. It also houses a number of reception rooms, including the Blue Reception Room. The Palace was heavily damaged during the fight between Rand and Rahvin, with the use of balefire. The Palace was occupied and probably destroyed or heavily damaged when the Shadowspawn conquered Caemlyn .
