The Imperial Loyalists were Imperial Remnant personnel loyal to Jagged Fel during the Imperial Crisis, fighting against the Imperial Nationalists of Vladimir Makarov with the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. When Makarov formed the Nationalists with the intent of restoring the Galactic Empire of Palpatine in 37 ABY, he took control of much of the Remnant's forces. About a third remained loyal to Fel, who took command after a Makarov executed most of the Moffs. They fought alongside Alliance troops against the Nationalists, more of whom defected to the Loyalists throughout the Crisis. In 41 ABY, they were victorious and restored the Remnant.
