Maurice "Mauri" Rose (MORE-ee; born May 26, 1906 in Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, United States – died January 1, 1981 in Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan, United States) was an American racing driver who was a three-time winner of the Indianapolis 500, in 1941, 1947 and 1948. His two World Championship appearances came in the 1950 and 1951 Indianapolis 500s, in which he scored one third place and one retirement. __TOC__
