The Rites of Conch-tar was a ceremony that was considered sacred by the Anguilla, an aquatic species from the planet Alluuvia. The ceremony was performed by individuals who were seeking to prove their worth, and it involved entering a submerged cave and there, consuming a piece of of phosphorescent seaweed, which via a creature known as a piscator caused those who ate the seaweed to be overcame by a sense of fear. To complete the rites, an individual had to remain inside the cave and confront their fears. During the Galactic Civil War, a group of Rebel Alliance agents traveled to Alluuvia and to prove that their intentions towards the Anguilla were honorable, the agents engaged in the Rites of Conch-tar.
