Dr John Allan Gillison (22 June 1892 - 15 August 1975) was a physician and local politician active in the Rotherhithe area. Born in Melbourne, Australia, he was the son of a Scottish minister. He spent most of his childhood and youth in New Zealand before moving to Scotland to study medicine at the University of Edinburgh and graduating in 1920. In January 1952 it was announced that Gillison had joined the Bermondsey Conservative Association. He retired to Jersey where he died, aged 83.
