The Maslow System was a star system in the Haven Quadrant with an inhabited planet, also called Maslow. It was a close ally of the People's Republic of Haven and adapted many of the larger star nation's policies. The Technical Conservation Act of 1815 PD turned specialists like Sebastian Adcock into "national resources", denying them the right to leave at will. The Adcock family managed to escape nonetheless, and immigrated to the Star Kingdom of Manticore. In 1846 PD, the People's Navy conquered the system as part of Haven's aggressive expansion.
