The Huppermages or Huppermage's Rune have many elemental attacks, meaning they are very versatile. They can combine elemental effects to reduce healing, apply damage multipliers, reduce MP, reduce range, apply dodge penalties. This is done by first hitting an enemy with any elemental attack. This will apply an elemental state to the enemy which then causes effects when the enemy is hit by a different element. For example if you were to use Telluric Wave (Earth) and then you use Stalagamite(Water) the enemy would suffer a loss of 2 MP. Using 2 different elemental attacks will remove the elemental state from the enemy. Depending on which build you go for Huppermages can be very versatile and effective at many ranges.
