The Green Ajah is an Ajah of the Aes Sedai. It is sometimes called the "Battle Ajah", because its members devote themselves mostly to preparing to fight at Tarmon Gai'don. The head of the Ajah is called the "Captain-General". When choosing Sitters, generally the sisters nominate choices and the Captain-General chooses one of them. Its members all bond Warders, and often more than one. Some of them even marry their Warders.
