Shion Kuchiki is a female Shinigami of the Noble Kuchiki Family, and the Fifth Seat of the Second Division in the Gotei 13, formally under Captain SoiFon, and currently under Captain SuiFon, after the previous Captain's death. She serves in the Onmitsukido in the Nest of Maggots; due to her illness that's the only area that she would be of any use, so she took it, due to her desire to be useful. Her twin brother, Keiichi Kuchiki, is the Lieutenant of the Second Division and Co-Commander of the Onmitsukido, whom she has somewhat of an incestuous relationship with.
