Kristi McGarity (born Kristin McGarity, August 28, 1974) is an American composer, primarily working in the field of electronic music. She is the winner of the 2010 MSU Provost's Award for Undergraduate Research and Creativity Mentoring and a 2011 Faculty Award for Excellence. McGarity was director of the Music Technology program at Montana State University. She is notable as a female figure in the world of electronic art music.
