Betrayal is a scenario of Archibald's campaign in Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succession Wars. The player can choose this instead of the fifth scenario of Roland's campaign, Turning Point. They'll then continue with Archibald's campaign, without any of the awards earned in Roland's campaign. After receiving an offer to join Archibald's royal court, the commander chose to leave Roland's rebellion and follow his brother instead. He took control of the Lorendale valley, an important supply route for Archibald's army, and chased the remains of Roland's rebels away.
