Deep Space 14 was a Federation starbase in orbit of Gameptis, a Federation member planet far beyond the core of the UFP. The space station was constructed in the 2410s, replacing many of the aging Gameptian space habitats. Connected to the UFP core sectors through a transwarp conduit, DS-14 was mainly crewed by Gameptian Starfleet officers, and served as a base for new exploration initiatives in the region.
