Their involvement in the sinking of the Defias vessel carrying King Varian Wrynn of Stormwind had consequences that have played out now. The young king somehow managed to escape, and through many stages, took back the throne in the expansion World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. The Strashazs employ their own breed of hydras.
