A small, single-VCO synth introduced by Moog Music in 1974. The Micromoog was intended to be an entry-level, lower-cost alternative to the Minimoog. Besides the single VCO, it contained a dedicated LFO, an attack-release envelope generator, and a ribbon controller for performer pitch variation in place of the usual pitch wheel. It also contained the same transistor ladder VCF that the Minimoog used. The model also contained external CV/Gate inputs, but there was a flaw: due to a design error, the control voltage input was scaled at 0.9V/octave instead of the conventional 1V/octave.
