Hawksroost was a village that lay south of Ilinvur in the Ride in north Faerûn. It was once the home of Daern, a warrior who fought alongside the Ilmatari priest Flaergon of Glister and figured highly in the tale of the Tome of Torment. After 1299 DR, Hawkroost was destroyed in a series of ogre attacks.
