The Indign are a collective of different species that were discovered by the Full Circle fleet in 2381 in the Delta Quadrant. They have long ago learned of the Borg and started considering their collective as the ultimate way of living together. However, they were considered unworthy to be assimilated, which is why they started building Borg cube-like ships with beings to be assimilated on board.
