A Local Guy, a friend of Dodge Landon, accompanied Dodge and two party girls to the San Bruno Primate Shelter run by Dodge's father, John Landon. There, Dodge showed off his dominance over the apes and the Local guy was about to taunt Caesar into thinking he'll receive a bottle of alcohol that he was carrying along with a pack. Caesar distracted the guy long enough by grabbing him by the throat in order to steal his pocket knife.
