The War of the Reclaimer was a war after the Great War between the UNSC and the Reclaimers. The war was about research about the Forerunner race. The Reclaimers believed that since the Great War, the Forerunner should be researched in more depth, but the UNSC had declined this offer. The Reclaimers were founded ten years before the war started.
