Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir, better known as Yohanna, is an Icelandic singer. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, she was raised in Iceland where she started performing at the age of 9 and released her first album (a compilation of pop songs sung in the Icelandic language) in 2000. She is best known for representing her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow with the song Is It True?, finishing in a distant second place yet equaling Iceland's best placing in the contest. Yohanna was also the Icelandic vote spokesperson for the 2010 contest in Oslo.
