Maghara was an Urgal of legend who had hair past her waist, horns that shown like polished stone, and a laugh that could charm birds out of trees, but she was ugly. She wanted to marry an Urgal that had defeated twenty-seven other Urgals in wrestling matches while killing four. He would not even pay attention to her due to her ugliness. So she went to an Urgal goddess named Rahna and begged for beauty so she could have the Urgal she wanted as her brood-mate. The goddess asked what she would pay in return and Maghara told her she would give anything. After seven years had past, Rahna came for her payment and took her eldest son, Hegraz. Maghara fought back and she lost both her beauty and her son.
