A Devlikk Podracer, Wan Sandage, father of Wan Sandage Jr., competed in the Boonta Eve Clasic during the Blockade of Naboo. He also hired Aldar Beedo to take out Sebulba during the race. Sandage crashed into a sandcrawler during the third lap of the race off-course. At the same time, the hunter was becoming the hunted. Aldar Beedo, not only had to capture Sebulba, but also avoid being captured by Kam Nale, under the Alias of Elan Mak. After the race was over, Sandage was angered on how both Aldar failed the mission, and also how he outflew the Devlikk. Aldar promised to finish the job on Malastare.
