Onyx 3 was a TIE Defender pilot. Five years after Order 66, he joined an Imperial Navy Academy on Corellia. Onyx 3 then became part of Onyx Squadron. He saw action in the Battle of Endor, and after that he served in Grand Admiral Thrawn's fleet.
