The RG652LWFX features a basswood body with a limba wood top bolted to a maple and walnut Super Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret bound marbled rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a fixed bridge and Gotoh locking tuning machines. The RG752LWFX is a similar seven-string model. Several other similar six-string hard-tail models were also produced including the RG652FX (no exotic top), the RG652KFX (Australian blackwood top), the RG652AHMFX (ash body and maple fretboard) and the RG652MPBFX (poplar burl top and maple fretboard).
