Trancas was a benevolent king who was acquainted with Hercules and Iolaus. He asked the heroes to guard a shipment of dinars he was sending as financial aid to the government of Nemea. Iolaus had lost his memory and temporarily parted with Hercules so Trancas send a teamster named Spiro with the hero.
