Soft clay is made by using clay on a water source. The closest water sources to a bank in free-to-play are at the furnace trough near the Lumbridge Combat Academy, Falador, and Edgeville. Withdraw 28 clay and run to the trough, located east of the Combat Academy. Use the clay on the trough to soften the clay. Players can expect to make up to 2,000 soft clay per hour.
