The song was performed ninth on the night, following Israel and preceding host country Ireland. In an exciting voting sequence, Switzerland was 5 points down on Scott Fitzgerald of the United Kingdom with just one jury left to go. The Yugoslavian jury awarded 6 points to Switzerland and none to the United Kingdom, helping the song win by only one point.
