Besides the bridge, other differences include the lack of body binding on the JEM7EAFX and the inclusion of a special Vai 'world awareness graphic'. The graphic indicates that it is the first of Ibanez’ World Wood Program, dedicated to the increased utilization of sustainable hardwoods in guitar making. The JEM7EAFX was discontinued in mid-2011.
