Larry Fuentes was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and also the murder victim in Hung Out to Dry (episode). In addition to being a Marine, Fuentes had a wife, Rosemarie and a young son, Billy who were both devastated by his death. He was a member of the night-time training jump group and reported to Captain Faul. According to his squad, Fuentes's nickname was "Thumper" because he was their good luck guy. Abby's tests later confirmed that before Fuentes had gone on the jump, he had taken Percocet and Vicodin for an injury that had dinged his collarbone.
