Zhag was a male Tellarite who lived in the 24th century. In the 2370s decade, he was imprisoned at the Letau prison facility. In the year 2375, Zhag was one of several prisoners who managed to escape their holding cells after the Cardassian prison was damaged by the crash of a Romulan starship at the end of the Dominion War. Zhag was killed after being shot by Jem'Hadar soldiers who had entered the facility with orders to kill all of the prisoners held there. (DS9 novel: Fearful Symmetry)
