Cliché Love Song was the Danish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen co-written and performed by Basim. It is a soulful, up-tempo song reminiscent of songs by popular American singer Bruno Mars. As the host country, Denmark was pre-qualified for the final. The song was performed 23rd on the night (as per allocation at the Head of Delegation meetings prior to the contest) following Malta and preceding the Netherlands. At the close of voting, it finished in 9th place with 74 points.
