Brother Zair is an old druid that lived in Cove during Ultima IV. Brother Zair spent his time watching the river flow endlessly. He had a brother, Zair the Wise, that lived in Paws. The Stranger was diretced to Brother Zair after talking to Zair the Wise, in order to learn about the word of passage. Brother Zair informed the Stranger that the kings of the three castles of the Three Principles each knew a syllable of the word.
