Sonic the Hedgehog went on the run after believing he had killed his friends as Super Sonic. He wound up in Spike's Place, where the locals soon discovered who he was and plotted to capture him and give him to Robotnik for the reward money. However, Sonic had recently overdosed on Emerald Energy and quickly turned into the rampaging Super Sonic again, in which form he destroyed the bar and caused all the patrons to flee.
