Catalan solids are the duals of the Archimedean Solids. All Catalan Solids are convex. They differ from Archimedean and Platonic solids in that their faces are composed of irregular polygons. They are named for Eugene Catalan, the Belgian mathematician who discovered them in 1865. File:Square pyramid.png This geometry-related article contains minimal information concerning its topic.
