The Detention Escape Route is a passageway at Hogwarts Castle, which could be used to flee a detention room. It starts on the seventh floor, after the Porticus Olidus that can be accessed by the Pungent Passage. It continues to the Dungeons-level. The Detention Escape Route was used, on occasion, by Dumbledore's Army members, to evade Argus Filch after hours.
