Despite his slobbery dimwitted nature, Spike is quite feisty as he helps Marina save the whole crew from sirens. At the end, Spike leaps at in Sinbad and Marina on the crows nest in the middle of their True Love's Kiss and slobbers over them as the ship sails into the distance.
