Akrana is the homeworld of the Frenna. It is a harsh world of high gravity and constant storms, with only the cities offering safe shelter for most creatures. The starports and some surrounding areas are equipped with powerful anti gravity emplacements, essentially allowing less resilient species to visit and stay on Akrana without further technical aide, at least within clearly defined limits. This also allows departing starships to reduce the initially required takeoff power until they are able to use their main engines.
