The Smurf Village Bank was the center location of Finance Smurf's activities in the comic book story "The Finance Smurf". It is where Finance Smurf stores the money of the wealthy Smurfs and where he loans money to the Smurfs who are in need of money. Originally the bank was located in Finance Smurf's own house, but later on in the story, a more palatial office was built for the bank, the sight of which caused a Smurf to pack up his things and leave the village. The bank was eventually dissolved as the Smurfs rejected the money system and went back to the old system of sharing and cooperation.
