Danny Jackpot, Kurt Angle, Edge, Chris Jericho, Mr. Kennedy, Matt Hardy, MVP, Christian, Abyss, Goldberg, Shawn Michaels and CM Punk have held the gold so far. Kurt Angle is the current Champion, after defeating the former champion CM Punk at RassleMania 3. CM Punk is the longest reigning champion, with his reign clocking in at 1,169 days. Angle is his second reign as World Heavyweight Champion, making him the third person with multiple reigns in the belt's history.
