Ambrosia Acosta Teran [Spanish: Terán] (21 February 1904 – 25 August 2016) was a Mexican supercentenarian who was the first verified supercentenarian in Mexico (although two Mexican immigrant cases had been previously validated, namely Soledad Mexia and Dominga Velasco - both residents of the USA), according to the GRG. She was, at the age of 112 years, 186 days, the oldest known living person in Mexico. Ambrosia liked to watch television, and enjoyed reading, singing, eating Mexican food ''Chile Relleno''. She was still walking until 109, when she became afraid of falling.
