The London Bullies was a group of four dishonest individuals from London who were hired by Jackman Donning & Bowe in order to terrorize Mrs Winn into selling her home in Chapelvale. Led by George Pearson, they drove to Chapelvale in an automobile which they had stolen from Colonel Busby Hythe Simmonds in order to save the train fare money. The gang eventually fell into a trap set by Constable Judmann and Ben and were arrested for the car theft. After being interrogated, the thugs confessed they had been hired by Maud's father.
