Captain America (also called simply The First Avenger) is a fanfilm created by Max Carroll. The fourth entry into the Marvel Minimate Universe, the film explores the origins of Steve Rogers, a poor child living in early 1940s Brooklyn, New York at the start of World War II, as he is drafted into the United States government to participate in a top secret experiment that would turn a man into the ultimate soldier. Rogers dons the persona of Captain America and fights alongside the Allied forces against the Nazi terrorist, the Red Skull, who intends to use an extraterrestrial artifact called the Tesseract to conquer the world.
